This year Financial Matrix decided to make a donation to The Special Children's Christmas Party, held in association with the Cancer Society on behalf of our clients and staff, rather than sending Christmas cards or gifts.

"The aim of the day is provide over 2,200 Special Children with one of the best days of their lives."

"The children invited to the party come from four major groups: either physically impaired, intellectually impaired, those suffering from a life threatening illness and children living in disadvantaged circumstances because of either environmental or economic reasons."

"The children are sourced through various community, charity and Government organisations who deal with these children on a daily or weekly basis."

Financial Matrix has also donated to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. The Trust runs the Auckland based Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
